Eight Member Cities Join Forces to Step Up Gender Equality at UN Women

Various representatives of METROPOLIS member cities met in New York as part of the 59th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW59), organized by UN Women from 9 to 20 March.

“Digital Urban Women: Digital Empowerment of Women for a True Urban Transformation”is the title of the good practices round table which METROPOLIS is organizing together with the Brussels-Capital Region and Barcelona City Council’s Department of Women and Civil Rights. The event, to be held on 11 March from 10 am to 1.30 pm in the Hotel One United Nations Plaza in New York, is part of the 59th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women.
